Oops, it's been a while.

I've always thought of a blog as a place to share random thoughts and tidbits rather than a breakdown of my daily schedule or the things that I'm doing in my life, but I felt like making a summary post, so here goes:

* Been martial arting it up 5-6 days lately, so very busy.

* On my evening off, I go to hang out with some very awesome people that run a craft and sewing hangout where I've been doing everything from fixing my broken scrunchies (I found a rubber band inside one of them. A RUBBER BAND.) to seeing casts made in algaenate to setting up my kiln for future glass/polymer clay projects.

Once I went through my wardrobe and pulled out everything that didn't fit right, was too long, that needed fixing, etc. I had a giant cardboard box full of projects. I don't see running out any time soon, especially since altering a single pair of pants has proved a complicated task that takes multiple weeks.

I'm trying very hard to resist my love of fabrics and go insane buying things to make into pretty clothes. I've been sketching ideas down though, so when I finish learning about fabric by altering my existing wardrobe, I'm going to start making the clothes I've always pictured in my head but never found anywhere.

* It went on sale. I bought the jacket after stalking it for five months.

* I love summer. I really love summer.
