People seem to mention furries a lot and laugh at them lately.
While I don't practice the furry lifestyle (nor claim to be at all an expert), it seems to me that furries would likely have a healthy respect for nature and animal rights, which is the best that I can hope for from humanity in general. Also, I have yet to see any furry evangelists.
