There were five crazy people on the 38L bus at once today, which sets a personal record. They set each other off in a chain reaction too, which all took place in the first 10 rows of seats.
First the homeless muttering black guy took off his shoes, which set off the crazy Chinese lady, who started shouting "Shoe! Shoe!" the rest of the trip in between rapid sentences of Cantonese, and who kept pulling her jacket over her head and sticking her hands out the bus windows. That in turn set off the crazy white lady with the book, who pointed and laughed laughed hysterically the remainder of the trip downtown, setting off the two old black guys sitting next to me, who spent the rest of the trip elbowing one another and shouting about rib sandwiches.
It's certainly less boring than sitting in traffic.

I know exactly what you mean, i live in SLC, Utah, and have to go downtown a lot on the bus - theres some pretty crazy folks.
But, its much more fun once you join them in the yelling ;)

You missed out on the best bus drama for Josiah's birthday...incredibly hot girl breaking up with her incredibly thugish boyfriend on the bus with a running commentary from a giant flamboyant black man. (Think Hollywood Montrose from the movie 'Mannequin')
