Went to dim sum with Janice and Jesse for a shameless display of gluttony, went to the mall to pick up Okami, Jesse's latest video game in a shameless display of consumerism, then it was on to the movie theatre for The Protector, which was the most shameless of all.
Having learned from Ong Bak not to deal with such matters as "plot", "dialogue", and "subtlety", Jesse and I shamelessly enjoyed long gratuitous fight scenes and an hour and a half of Tony Jaa being amazing. "Oh look, here's a tower of 50 men! I'll destroy them all!" "Now the bad guys are over here in this building! I will walk in, scream, and take them ALL ON."
